How Supportix collects, processes, stores, and protects personal data.

Your data stays in Europe

Supportix infrastructure is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. User data is stored in our core infrastructure and is not transferred outside the EU.

Collection and processing of personal data

“Personal data” means information that may directly or indirectly identify an individual, including a name, image, personal identification number, contact details, behavior, or IP address. Processing includes actions such as collecting, registering, and storing that data.

Personal data may only be processed for specified purposes. Supportix processes personal data to provide its features, improve products and services, conduct relevant sales and marketing activity, and understand how people use the site and platform.

Supportix applies appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, amendment, disclosure, or destruction.

Respect for privacy

Our data-handling principles are:

  • We identify why personal information is collected before or when it is collected.
  • We use personal information only for those purposes, compatible purposes, legal requirements, or with the person’s consent.
  • Website visitor data collected by the Supportix chat client is not directly bound to a known personal identity.
  • We retain personal information only for as long as necessary.
  • We collect information through lawful and fair means and obtain knowledge or consent where appropriate.
  • We take reasonable steps to keep relevant personal data accurate and current.
  • We protect information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, copying, use, disclosure, or modification.
  • We make information about our privacy practices available to customers.

GDPR policy

Supportix implements GDPR requirements intended to protect personal data and give individuals rights to access, modify, and delete data, as well as provide consent where required. Customers may contact us to request relevant privacy documentation or a Data Processing Agreement.

Disclosure of personal data

We may appoint external partners to provide services such as infrastructure, administration, data analysis, statistics, or marketing. Partners that process personal data for us must agree to appropriate data-protection obligations.

Supportix may disclose personal data to public authorities when required by law, a binding authority decision, or a valid criminal investigation. We do not disclose personal data beyond these purposes.

Chatbox cookies and IP addresses

The Supportix chatbox uses cookies to restore chat sessions and messages when a visitor moves between pages or returns to a website. Cookies are used for messaging functionality, not advertising tracking.

  • Chatbox cookies have a default expiration period of six months, renewed when the visitor returns.
  • Cookies connect a visitor to a server-side session used for chat functionality.
  • Empty sessions are removed after expiration; sessions containing conversations may be retained until deleted by an authorized website agent.
  • IP addresses may be stored with sessions for security, abuse prevention, and legally required logging.

The site may link to external services we do not control. Visitors should review the privacy and cookie policies of those services separately.
